On Windows, Funnelback uses the third-party tool blat to send email to the administrator at the end of each update.
Occasionally blat.exe consumes the majority of CPU resources.
This may be caused by misconfiguration of the machine, however a workaround was delayed as it is impossible to disable email notifications in the system. We ended up changing the blat entry in executables.cfg to point to a non-existent filepath.
Another potential solution is to upgrade the version of BLAT to the latest version.
